Cіфнеу Еврідікі

Вікторія Константінова

(Sifnaiou (Sifneos) Evridiki) (17.8.1957, м. Афіни – 13.10.2015, м. Афіни).

У середині ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст. предки дослідниці жили в Приазов’ї і мали там бізнес.

Еврідікі Cіфнеу здобула історичну освіту в Афінському університеті (Department of History and Archaelogy of the University of Athens).

Була докторанткою Вищої школи соціальних наук (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales), Париж. У 1994 р. захистила дисертацію “Lesbos, la ville de Mytilène et sa région. Économie et société (1840 – 1912)”.

Згодом до кінця життя працювала в Грецькій Національній дослідницькій фундації (National Hellenic Research Foundation), Інституті новогрецьких досліджень (Institute for Neohellenic Research); програма “Історія підприємств та індустріальної археології”.

У 2005 р. отримала грант Гарвардської школи бізнесу (Alfred D. Chandler Travel Grant from the Harvard Business School).

У 2005 – 2007 рр. представляла Інститут новогрецьких досліджень у проекті “Thematic Network of European Social Science Research Centres on the Mediterranean Area (REMSH)”, у, 2008 – 2009 рр. – у Європейській мережі передового досвіду “RAMSES-2 Réseau Euro-méditerranéen des centres de recherche en Sciences Humaines sur l’aire mediterraneenne”.

У 2007 – 2010 рр. разом із Тзеліною Харлафтіс була співкерівницею проекту “Економічний і соціальний розвиток азовських портових міст і греки в довгому 19 – му столітті” (“Economic and Social Development of the Azov port-cities and the Greeks in the long 19th century”).

У 2011 р. стажувалась у Прінстонському університеті (Visiting Research Fellowship in the program of Hellenic Studies at Princeton University). У 2012 р. знов стажувалась у Прінстоні (Research Fellowship at the Historical School of the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton). У січні-квітні 2013 р. працювала у Нью-Йоркському університеті (a visiting scholar at the Jordan Centre for the Advancement of Russian Studies, Department of Russian and Slavic Studies at the NYU).

Очолювала проекти “Індустрія з виробництва оливкової олії та мила в Греції 19 – 20 століть” (“The olive-oil and soap-making industry in Greece (19th-20th centuries)”), “Цифрова база даних щодо промислових об’єктів Егейського моря” (“Digital database for industrial sites in the Aegean Sea”), “Греки в Одесі за Загальноросійським переписом населення 1897 року” (“Greeks in Odessa according to the 1897 All Russian Census”).

У 2012 – 2015 рр. була координатором дослідницької групи Грецької Національної дослідницької фундації у міжнародному проекті “Чорне море і його портові міста, 1774 – 1914. Розвиток, конвергенція та зв’язки зі світовою економікою” (“The Black Sea and its port-cities, 1774 – 1914. Development, convergence and linkages with the global economy”), керованому Тзеліною Харлафтіс. У рамках цього проекту підготувала, зокрема, одноосібну монографію “Imperial Odessa: Peoples, Spaces, Identities”, а також виступила співредактором (разом із Оксаною Юрковою та Валентиною Шандрою) тому “Port-Cities of the Northern Shore of the Black Sea: Institutional, Economic and Social Development, 18th – early 20th Centuries”. Обидва видання нині підготовлені до публікації в серії “Black Sea History”.

Володіла грецькою, англійською, французькою, італійською, іспанською та російською мовами.

Проводила дослідження в Греції, Україні, Росії, Франції, Великій Британії, США.

Авторка більше 50 наукових праць.

Основні сфери наукових інтересів: економічна та соціальна історія Східного Середземномор’я, історія грецької діаспори.
